Friends of Gibson County Animals was formed to try and help with an out-of-control pet population. We are working with the Gibson County Animal Shelter and encourage people to adopt from them.  The shelter runs on a very small budget and last year alone about 1,300 animals that were available for adoption had to be put down.  Our hope is to prevent that this year.  We are also working with the community in trying to place dogs so they don't end up at the shelter or dumped in the country somewhere. We want people to know there is help out there and we will help you to find it.  But we can't work miracles and we can't personally take in every dog that needs a home. If you are willing to work with us then we will help you in finding a home for your dog.
